Networks now have to be designed to defend themselves from a myriad of threats on the internal LAN. Enterprise networks are open to conference room guests, contractors, partners, remote sites, employee-owned systems and a wide range of mobile and wireless devices. As security models evolve to increase security policies "in the network" rather than attempting to control the endpoint, a new LAN security deployment strategy must be achieved. |
